The male goose stood guard.

Honk! he honked
at the squirrels.

Honk! at the ducks.

Honk, hee-honk, honk!
at neighboring geese.

The day after the
chicks hatched,
the father and mother
took a stroll.

Twelve wobble goose
legs followed.
