ONLINE COURSES:
Author Anastasia Suen offers lots of online workshops to assist aspiring children’s book authors. She’s been doing this for years and she has a whole slate of workshops you can take.
Author Laura Purdie Salas offers online classes/workshops ranging from nonfiction for the education market to writing poetry.
Author Esther Hershenhorn teaches at University of Chicago’s Writer’s Studio and other sites. She also coaches writers, offering both critiques and career advice.
Author Carolyn Marsden offers critiquing of novels and chapter books. She has an MFA in Creative Writing for children and young adults from Vermont College. She has ten novels/chapter books with Candlewick. She also does career coaching.
Author Maryann Rodman offers critiquing for a fee. She has an MFA in Creative Writing for children and young adults from Vermont College. She writes both novels and picture books.
